8 days until DD-Day.

Day 2: Today was a beautiful day—warm hot and sunny. However, it's December; our Christmas tree is up and our halls are decked. What is wrong with this picture? Come on, cooler weather. I really don't want to have to pick out another going-home outfit for baby Brooks. And snow this Christmas would be nice.

I went to the office for a couple of hours this afternoon and then went over to Shug and Pops' house to visit with Lea. Today is her birthday! 31 great years. I am thankful for what she brings to my life and for her friendship. I lucked up.

Other than still feeling a bit groggy (I slept until 9:30 this morning—12 hours total, to be exact) I am feeling much better. No signs of baby today, but he has been on my mind. I love you, precious boy, and I cannot wait to meet you.
