Third time's a charm! We have been planning and rescheduling this trip since March and it finally happened, no thanks to Covid. To say that we were looking forward to our time in Grayton with the Woods, Moorers, and Owens is an understatement. Let's just say that it was everything we hoped it would be and more.
We arrived on the Fourth of July and headed straight for the beach. The vibe there was electric (but, it was a tad too crowded).
When the rest of our crew arrived we headed to the pool for an afternoon swim and cocktails.
John boiled us up some dinner and then we moseyed on over to the dock to shoot fireworks.
The next day (and every day thereafter) we beached it, then pooled it.
And every night we gamed it (beer pong, flip cup, What Do You Meme, Family Feud).
We spent a lot of time crafting cocktails, paddle-boarding or kayaking, and fishing.
We roasted s'mores...
...and basked in the sun and surf.
There were intense Bocce games and even a parent's night out.

We had a eventful rain delay.
But, before long the sun was shining again.
It really was the BEST trip with the best of friends that we hope to continue for years to come!
