That's a wrap on Fall Ball! It was a fun season for these sweet boys.

We are proud of you, #17!

moms v. kids.

Well, that was fun! Moms v. Kids and the moms won! I didn't realize how competitive I was until I played against a bunch of seven year olds. HA!

What an exciting way to close out the season. I just love this entire group of sweet, sweet friends and kiddos.

a season to remember.

We played in our last tournament this week at Homewood and lost, again, to Hoover in the nail-biting championship.

Brooks really improved this season, had the best attitude, and played his heart out at pitcher, left field, and first base. We are so proud, buddy!

We are also incredibly thankful for the bit of normalcy baseball brought to this unusual time. It was definitely a season we will never forget! Now, it's time for a vacation...

Update: 11 games in 6 days. 15 consecutive hours at a tournament in Warrior, Alabama yesterday. WOW! But, what an awesome day it was. Homewood Red added another championship to their belt!

We have truly loved watching and cheering on these players. And, it's not over yet! So far, Brooks has added a game ball and two rings to his growing collection. Way to go, #17!

Congrats to the cutest runner-ups in all the land!

He was pretty much born for this gig.

cheer him up.

Brooks' friend and teammate, Bill, got injured hopping out of a tree in his yard and is out for the season. The team wanted to cheer him up yesterday afternoon so we popped in for a surprise visit.

He even rallied and joined us at our game last night to help cheer us on.

Get well soon, Bill!

no place we'd rather be.

Kicked off our first All Star tournament of the summer this evening! Not quite what we had planned for Camp's birthday, but there's no place we'd rather be.

Proud of our #17! Let's go, Homewood Red!

Excited to cheer on our little Royal this spring. Started the season off strong with a home run to end the game in a tie. Proud of our #17!

It was a fun and eventful weekend with the highlight being winning the 6U AAA GBBA Allstar tournament. This team played 7 games in 7 days, fighting it out in both the pouring down rain and blistering sun. We are especially proud of Brooks for getting the game-winning RBI with 2 outs in the last inning, ending in a 24-23 win!

Brooks was the best sport this season, switching positions from his beloved first base to outfield and catcher, succeeding wherever coach put him.

His talents and passion paid off and we could not be more excited for him and his friends. We were hesitant about participating in Allstars this year, but have no regrets. We are especially thankful for the sweet friendships made both on and off the field. Way to go, Homewood Red!
