Cheers to the weekend from our little sunglass stealer!

It was a happy Fourth of July, indeed! We spent five days at the lake for the holiday and were blessed by sunshine, good food, and great (new) friends.

On Wednesday night, we took the boat to the Ritz to see the fireworks. This was the first year, I  believe, that the older both stayed up to watch the show. It was amazing and left me in tears, as always. 

On the 4th, we walked over to the neighbors for barbeque, drinks, and fun. A little too much fun! Swimming at the sandbar with the whole group, was the perfect way to end our festive day.

The rest of our days were spent on the boat and waverunner, in the lake, and at the pool. Sissy even got to go on a special date with Nanie to see Toy Story 4!

It really was the best, most relaxing weekend and we are so thankful!

This morning, our Camp woke up as a TWO year old! And, this afternoon, we celebrated him the best we knew how…with a cars and trucks party made complete with an inflatable slide!

We served pizza, frozen grapes, car and dump truck-shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, applesauce pouches, goldfish, and cake! The kids had fun pushing cars and trucks along the city roads, coloring, and going down the slide. The adults enjoyed the prosecco margaritas. 😀

Everything came together perfectly at the last minute and our little buddy had the best time! We sure love you, Campbell Alden, and your love for anything with two or more wheels.
