Ann Bennett has been waiting for her go at Great American Day since last year. After much deliberation, she chose to be Amelia Earhart and today she transformed into the cutest Lady Lindy I ever did see. 

She prepped and practiced for her "performance" for an entire week and did absolutely amazing. 

She recited:

"I am Amelia Earhart. People also call me Lady Lindy.

I can fly an airplane.

I have set many flying records. I am the first woman to fly across the ocean."

Ann Bennett, your hard work paid off and we are so very proud!

Shades Cahaba Winter Festival fun!

We started our morning with a basketball game and ended it at Shades Cahaba for the school's annual fundraiser. The kids had a blast and we were thankful for the sunshine!

And that's a wrap! Brooks' second basketball season has come to an end. 

He loved having Beck, his friend from his class, on his team this season. These boys showed a great amount of teamwork and we are so proud!

My favorite day of Covenant kindergarten: the Sweetheart Tea! And this year, I got to be Ann Bennett's guest of honor. I had the best time with my baby girl.
