Friendsgiving 2019.

Horrible picture quality, stellar group of friends.

We are so thankful for our Growing Kids God's Way small group. These families have our hearts!

win or lose.

Brooks really excelled this year in flag football and was asked to play on a post-season team. They played their hearts out in a local tournament this weekend (in rain and shine) and despite the losses we are so proud of them and their WINS!

Seriously, win or lose, this boy loves the sport and had the time of his life! Good job, Brooks!

When your little brother comes down with the stomach bug and your parents have to cancel your birthday plans, your aunt, uncle, and cousins take you out to dinner!

We loved our evening with Bennett and are so thankful for his life! Happy 10th Birthday, buddy!

grandpal's day.

Thanksgiving Program for Ann Bennett and Camp + Grandpal's Day for Brooks = loved littles and a very busy Shug and Pops.

Brooks had the best time showing them around his school today!

his faithfulness continues.

It's Program Day!

We adore this special day at Covenant Day School and this year was especially special because Ann Bennett had a speaking part and it's our last year with a Two's Turkey (cue the tears).

Of course Annie nailed her part and the rest of her songs and movements. Caaaaaamp...not so much. But, he did stand on the stage the entire time looking as cute as a button and we are so proud!

"For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."

a win in my heart.

We try to make it to at least one football game every season. It's a weekend we really look forward to because it's a weekend we get to spend with the Branches and the Herrings. It's become a tradition that leaves each of us with full hearts.

On Friday night we trekked it to Auburn to eat dinner at the Herring's house. The kids had so much fun playing together, John and Will had fun chatting about hunting, and me and my girls had fun catching up...and just plain old being together again.

On Saturday morning we high-tailed it to campus to tailgate.

We had such an eventful and fun morning that by the time the game started Ann Bennett and Brooks were worn out. So worn out that AB slept on my lap almost the entire game!

After the game, we put the kiddos down for bed and headed to the AU Club for dinner.

It was the perfect ending to a pretty perfect weekend. Auburn may have lost the game to Georgia, but this town and these friends always win in my heart!
