Happy Halloween!

It was 50s Day today for Ann Bennett's 50th day of school. I'm convinced it doesn't get much cuter!

Sis had so much fun dressing up (I can't believe she kept her glasses on), drinking Grapico, playing limbo and giving the hoola-hoop a go. Now, on to the next costume!

carving and drilling.

We turned on the Halloween tunes, "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown," and carved our pumpkins last night!

Brooks went with a scary face, Campbell chose a monster, and Sis changed her mind from Rainbow Dash to this beautiful light-filled carving (a.k.a. drilling)! We can't wait to light them up on Halloween!

Annual pre-witches ride and pumpkin carving party was a success!

We so look forward to this day every year and love opening up our home to our friends. The older the kids get, the more fun they have! I don't see us putting an end to this tradition anytime soon!

The highlight is always watching the witches take flight down Roxbury, collecting candy that they throw out. Camp was too little to partake in the festivities last year, but this year he was in awe! Everyone had so much fun! Next up: pumpkin carving and Halloween!

key cat.

It rained and it poured on Fall Festival Friday this year. So, the festivities were moved inside for the second year in a row. However, the kiddos didn't miss a beat and Campbell absolutely had a blast participating in his first fall festival at Covenant!

He was especially proud of his cat face painting, telling everyone for the remainder of the day that he was a "key cat." And, it's no surprise that AB chose a rainbow!

It was, and always is, such a special day with the kids that we cherish so much!

tough end.

It was a tough end to the Patriot's flag football season. These boys lost their playoff game.

But, we turned those frowns upside down with pizza and fellowship afterwards!

It was a joy watching these cuties play!

out it came.

Is this for real?! Sissy lost her second tooth today!

She reluctantly let me pull it after she complained how it hurt every time she took a bite of her breakfast. I gave it a tug, but it didn't come out. With tears in her eyes, I pulled it one last time and out it came! She is now tied with her brother. It's a race to see who loses the next!

to the zoo.

Sister had her first field trip...to the zoo! Our morning started with a presentation on creepy crawlies.

Ann Bennett was so bold and brave to pet a snake!

Afterwards, we went to the butterfly habitat to see orbweaving spiders. EEK!

We spent the rest of our time there walking around seeing different animals and feeding the Lorikeets.

I think it's safe to say the kiddos had a great time!
