Eight is G R E A T!

Happy Birthday to our kind, sports-loving, knowledge-seeking, discerning, obedient, respectful, tenderhearted boy. You light up our hearts and touch those around you with your sweet and gentle spirit. To love and be loved by you is a privilege, one that we will never take for granted.

You are one of my greatest gifts, John Brooks. I am so proud to be your mama.

To celebrate, you chose to spend the afternoon with your friends Raj and John Michael. We took y'all to Top Golf and you sweet boys had a blast!

We capped off your special day with dinner at Mexico Lindo (your pick) and Oreo ice cream cake for dessert! You are so loved!

No big Christmas party for the Thames this year, so we improvised.

Last night, the Robersons graciously hosted a festive, more intimate gathering instead.

We ate the most delicious four course meal prepared by a private chef, drank, and were merry!

It was a top notch night with top notch friends.

Miss Anna is ENGAGED!

We love her and adore her and can't imagine a life without her.

Anna, thank you for being our children's safe place. We are so excited for this new season and are thankful we get to walk with you through it. Cheers to the future Mr. and Mrs. Davis!

Because the kids were dressed up, we decided to take them downtown to a "fancy" dinner.

It was a fun and special night until...our car got towed and we had to Uber home. It was definitely a night to remember!

A requested and thoughtfully planned princess dress-up party for our almost six year old girl.

She was surrounded by her very best friends and even had a special surprise guest! ❄️

ELSA!

She painted their nails, read them a story, and even sang to and danced with them. They were in heaven!

We couldn't ask for a better afternoon. You are SO loved and easy to celebrate, Ann Bennett!
