I love my days with this one. It will be so bittersweet when he starts PDO in the fall.

For now, I'm going to try to soak up every minute!

Because of The Whole Journey program I am on to help heal my gut, dining out on date night isn't an option. Sooo, John and I got a little creative last night and opted for trying our hand at Breakout Games. We didn't end up breaking out in time, but we sure did have a lot of fun!

I love my guy!

Big milestone for Mr. Camp today! He had his teeth cleaned at the dentist for the first time. Unlike Brooks and Ann Bennett, he did cry when it was time to lay down on the table, but once mama started rubbing his belly, the tears stopped.

Way to go, buddy! We are proud of you!

Shug finally deemed Campbell old enough to go to the toy store. I never thought the day would come!

I think it's safe to say he absolutely loves his special time with "Uggie."

I can't even describe how good last night was for my soul. I made a quick trip to Auburn to support and encourage my beautiful friend, Ashley, as she shared her redeeming testimony at StoryTellers Live. Bonus that I got to spend the evening with my very bests.

Laughter, and these girls, are the very best medicine. Love them with my whole heart!

Wherever Sybie is, there you will find Camp.

Wherever Camp and food are, there you will find Sybie.

Side note: Look at that face! Happiest boy in all the land.

happy birthday, meredith.

My precious friend Meredith is turning the big 3-5, so last night we celebrated her at Blueprint on 3rd.

I am so thankful for her and her sweet friendship and time spent with these bests!

Okay, I take that back (referring to my last post, here). There are some things that Camp loves more than cookies—accessories. Shoes, sunglasses, and hats.

He doesn't discriminate.

Not really sure there's anything this boy loves more...

I'll never tire of photographing my babies in the bathtub. And when tubby time calls for pink bathwater and an especially cute Camp, well, I couldn't resist!

goodbye, 2018.

Wednesday, January 2, 2019

We closed out 2018 at the beach with Shug, Pops, Uncle Bradley, Aunt Lea, and our cousins. Five days of rest and fellowship is just what my heart and body needed. The weather was a little funky—warm, overcast, with scattered showers—but, that didn't stop us from having one of our most memorable and enjoyable vacations.

We were able to make a trip down to the beach twice, but the majority of our time was spent riding bikes, wandering around Seaside, swimming in the pool at the house, and laying on the couch. I, especially, enjoyed the couch...

Unfortunately, Brooks woke up with an ear infection on our second night and spent the next day in pain, with high fever. Aunt Lea oiled him up good and by day four he was back to his normal self.

John, Lea, Bradley, and I were able to get out of the house on New Years Eve for a bit. It was a treat and we so enjoyed our time with them. I truly am grateful for each and every vacation we were able to go on this year. They are so good for the soul. As I reflect back on this year, I can't help but see God's hand in it all. There were good days and bad days, but He remained faithful through it all. We are truly blessed. Goodbye, 2018. You were a good one!
