of all time.

The kiddos were more interested in chasing each other around the Christmas tree lot than picking out a tree. That's okay, though. We only lost Camp twice. How am I supposed to keep my eye on a moving target while searching for the perfect tree?! It's fine. I'm fine. We survived and came home with a beaut.

I'll tell you what they were into, however. Watching Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, drinking hot chocolate, and decorating the tree. After Brooks hung the last ornament, he was so upset and kept asking for another. "One more, Mommy! Please!"

We turned all the lights off, stepped back and admired our work. Because of the help of the kids, it is hands down my favorite tree of all time.

It was a good night in the Bryant house.

on the nice list.

Before making the trek home from the lake, we stopped by to visit Santa Claus!

Brooks asked him for a new bike, Batman legos, and Beyblades. Ann Bennett asked for roller skates, Shopkins, and a Barbie. Camp, well, he didn't ask for anything, but he also didn't cry, so I'd say he made it on the nice list.

Let the Christmas festivities begin!

gobble 'til you wobble.

We went to the lake for Thanksgiving this year and spent not one, but THREE days at Nanie and Pop Pop's house with our cousins. What fun!

Our time together was spent fishing, playing football, going to the movies (The Grinch), putting together puzzles, and going on nature walks. We also gobbled
'til we wobbled. The kiddos sure had a great time together.

On Saturday, Mom, Abby and I went to Pike's to decorate wreaths. It was so much fun!

We are all so grateful and thankful for our time together!

holiday happenings.

Yesterday was a busy day, but we were left with full hearts by the time our heads hit the pillow at night. Brooks and Ann Bennett performed in their school's Thanksgiving program as a "turkey" and the most precious pilgrim I ever did see. Brooks practiced his speaking part for months and nailed it. We are so proud of him!

"We are so thankful to serve a powerful and awesome God!"

Annie sung her little heart out and gave us all the heart eyes.

Even baby brother was proud of his bigs!

Afterwards, we drove up I-65 for our family pictures with Sunny. Then, we raced home to change and head to the Mouton's house for Friendsgiving 2018. It was so nice seeing old friends and catching up, while gathered around the table. We look forward to it every year!

I feel like the holiday season has officially kicked off! Next up, Thanksgiving!

pajamas and hats.

I asked Brooks to run upstairs and put his pajamas on. This is what he came up with...

HA!

Also, this guy right here—loves a hat!

There's never a dull moment in the Bryant house. I sure do love my boys!
