I'm not sure Ann Bennett could have felt more loved or been more excited to have Nannie and Pop Pop and Shug attend Grandpal's Day with her this year.

grayton getaway.

I had an inquiry a couple of months ago about shooting a family from Texas down in Grayton Beach. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity so we decided to book a quick family getaway this past weekend. 

It honestly was one of our best trips to date. I'm not sure if it's because we were super relaxed with a go-with-the-flow (Grayton) mindset, or if everyone was on the same wavelength, but we truly had the most magical time! 

This is a trip I will treasure in my heart, always!

On to the next sport! These cute boys had fun at their first flag football game on Saturday. They may not have won, but they sure did play their hearts out with smiles on their faces!

We are so proud of our #17!

not laboring.

We definitely didn't labor on Labor Day. Instead, we went to the lake for the weekend and had the best time with our cousins! 

We did the usual: boat, swim, fish, and go to Dairy Queen. What childhood dreams are made of! Two things we did do differently, however, was giving wakeboarding a shot and jumping off of the rock. Brooks was really brave and tried to get up on the wakeboard and both he and Ann Bennett jumped off of the rock! Way to be courageous, my loves!

We ended our trip with a sweet visit with Gram (GiGi). 

We have much to be thankful for!
