A first "real" playdate for Camp this morning with Carter and Henley, two precious friends in his class.

I mean, does it get any cuter?

two teeth lost.

Saturday, October 17, 2020

Weeks of tears when I would try to get near her mouth to pull her dangling teeth and our girl finally got the job done herself...no surprise there!

Two teeth lost in the same day! Stop growing up, Annie!

And...he's off! First day of 3's at Covenant Day School.

Mama cried, but Campbell did not. Proud of you, buddy!

First day of 2nd Grade for Brooks and Kindergarten for Ann Bennett.

Lord, guard their hearts and minds and keep them trusting in You! I give them to You today and every day, trusting them to Your care. Your hands are far better than my own.

*Ann Bennett had the time of her life. She filled me in on her entire day, stating that it was the best day ever. She cannot wait to go back tomorrow! Brooks had a good day, too. He was less enthusiastic, but said that Mrs. Bertram is really nice. We are so grateful!

It's Ann Bennett's time to shine! My girl traded in her ballet slippers for flips and flops.

Today was her first day of tumbling at ACE and she had so much fun! Good job, Annie!

Another one bites the dust! Sissy let me pull out another loose tooth today. She is so brave.

Three down, many more to go. See you tonight, Tooth Fairy!

crib upgrade.

Monday, June 22, 2020

We finally transformed the nursery into a big boy room. Camp has been crawling out of his crib for quite some time, so we decided it was time to upgrade him from a crib to a bed.

To say that he was excited to sleep in his new (to him) bed is an understatement. He could hardly contain himself!

His first night was a success. He did amazing! Way to go, Camper!

corona cut.

I did it. I finally cut the curls. His birthday bedhead indicated that it was time.

Not bad for a Corona cut!

to my brown baby.

THREE!

To my brown baby,
my curly-haired, joyful, independent, smart, loving little boy,
Happy Birthday.
You bring us more joy than you can ever imagine.
I cannot believe that you are three years old. I remember the day you were born like it was yesterday. That day, and the gift of you, will always hold a special place in my mama heart. I love you, Campbell Alden.
