season finale.

Tonight, the Purple People Eaters played in their very last game of the season. While they didn't win a single game this season, they sure played their hearts out. We are so proud of Brooks for setting a goal (making a goal) and reaching it. He also made the block of a lifetime in our last game that I actually got on video!

The kids had fun and that's all that matters!

Yesterday evening, Brooks had his very first soccer game! We were supposed to start a couple of weeks ago, but the rain put a kink in our plans. Brooks was really excited to play. He got dressed a good hour before we were supposed to leave. He also couldn't wait to see his friends! John volunteered to coach his team this year and what a team we have! His friends Gray, Henry, Selah, Bill, and Lochlan, as well as our new twin friends, Liv and Neely are on his team.

They received purple shirts and the kids agreed on their name: the "Purple People Eaters." We can't wait to watch our boy and the rest of the PPEs play this season!
