AB baby had her six month well check-up on the 17th and our beefy burrito weighed 18 pounds, 4 ounces (84th percentile) and was 27 inches long (89th percentile). Her head circumference was a whopping 44 centimeters (91st percentile). The bigger the head, the bigger the brain, right?

The appointment went well. Ann Bennett got an A+ from Dr. McAfee. It was all fun and games until Patty came in to give Drama Queen her vaccinations (DTaP, Polio, Hib, PCV13, Hepatitis B, Rotavirus, and, electively, a flu shot (she had Influenza A and with B going around, I wanted to be on the safe side)). Oh my tears. The afternoon went no bueno. Sis fussed or cried until we put her down for the night and she woke up cranky and in pain the next morning. It is so amazing to me how my babies are so different. Brooks' motto is "no pain, no gain." All I have to do is kiss his boo boos, per his request, and it's out of sight, out of mind. Ann Bennett wanted to make sure that we knew she got several shots and that they hurt...for about a week straight. Kind of sounds like something her mommy would do.

I am so very thankful we have a healthy, growing baby girl. Praising God!
