Nothing quite like pulling into Nannie and Pop Pop's driveway after a six hour drive from the beach. The excitement was on another level! We could not wait to spend a week with them at one of our favorite places in all the land.
To sum it up, we boated, tubed, kayaked, gave the new slide a spin, fished, destroyed the playroom, read old books, went on walks, swam in the neighbor's pool, took mud-baths, ate treats from Dairy Queen, rode the wave-runner, and enjoyed our time with the cousins, grandparents, and Uncle Drew.
Unfortunately, our trip was cut five days short thanks to baseball so back to Homewood we went yesterday. It was a great Memorial Day weekend and we can't wait to go back once GBBA is over!
