special visitors.

We had two very special visitors come stay with us for a few days—our beloved Nannie and Pop Pop! We were really craving some time with them and with my mom's surgery mid-January, it seemed like it was now or never. So, they dropped all plans, loaded up and drove to Birmingham. We had the best time with them. Ann Bennett and Nannie picked up right where they left off—the two of them were joined at the hip. Brooks and Camp loved the attention from them, as well.

Their car got broken into (in our driveway) while here and their dog bit Brooks in the face, so that was really unfortunate, but our time with them was not. Our goodbyes were hard and we already miss them so much!
