The kids were ready and excited for their Christmas parties at school today. They both wanted their picture taken this morning before we left for carpool.
Unfortunately, I was only able to make it to Ann Bennett's party, but it made no difference to Brooks since he had a special visitor (Daddy) at lunch on Wednesday. Chick-fil-A, cupcakes, and the entire lunchroom singing happy birthday to me is how I want to spend my birthday, too! And tomorrow we get to celebrate with friends at his party! Let the festivities and Christmas break, begin!
