twos and threes.

Brooks and Ann Bennett began a new chapter at a new school this morning. Both of my sweet babies are going to Covenant Day school this year and I am beyond excited. Ann Bennett will be in the Transitional Twos (Mrs. Amy & Mrs. Elizabeth), two days a week and Brooks will be in the Threes (Mrs. Caroline & Mrs. Allison), three days a week.

Brooks was sure to leave me with a hug and a kiss during our goodbyes, but Ann Bennett didn't turn back. No surprise there! Her teacher did say that she has a "tearful" day and she didn't want to return on Friday, but this is new for her and we are going to give her some time to get acclimated. 

I am so thankful for this sweet school and the love that they have for Jesus and our children. Their mission includes:
- Teaching and instilling in each child a love for God, His Word, and the world He has created.
- Providing an environment of love, security, acceptance, and success.
- Planning and directing a wide variety of stimulating, age-appropriate activities in an enriching environment.
- Assisting each child in developing positive, Christ-centered self-image and a positive attitude toward school.
- Assisting children in developing expressive and receptive language skills, sensory-perception skills, gross and fine motor skills, and effective interpersonal skills.
- Promoting in each child a healthy independence.
- Working in harmony with parents to provide support services when needed.

My prayer for this school year is that God is glorified daily and that Brooks and Ann Bennett's love for Jesus grows and deepens. I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store!
