Every year since we have been married, John and I have gone to the beach to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. When we had Brooks, he joined us. Now that we've added another beach bunny to the mix, we are one big happy family celebrating getting older, love growing deeper, spring, and breaking. We loaded up the kids on a Wednesday morning and headed south to the gulf. The next three days were nothing short of wonderful. We had lots of sunshine, were able to visit with friends who we don't get to see often, ate too much seafood, delicious seafood, and spent countless hours on the beach digging holes in the sand, dipping our toes in the ocean…loving life.

John and I are longing for another beach trip already. I know our sand-loving babies are too. See you soon, beach!
