Ahhhhh, the beach. I am missing it today.

At the beginning of the month we drove down to Carillon Beach for the Bryant/Moore family annual vacation.

We had so much fun spending time with Aunt Lea, Uncle Bradley, and our sweet cousins, playing in the sand, jumping waves, and being spoiled rotten by Shug and Pops.

We couldn't leave without documenting Ann Bennett's first time seeing the ocean. No sand or water for this future beach babe, yet.

October just may be my favorite time of year at the beach. Wishing we were still there!

Miss Ann Bennett's nursery has gotten quite the attention lately. I feel so honored!

West Elm Birmingham "regrammed" a picture that I had posted on Instagram for the world to see a couple of weeks ago and today the amazing Joni Lay of Lay Baby Lay (eeeeeeeeeek!) featured it on her blog!

I am kind of freaking out. Sort of like the time I had a dream that Michael Bublé and I were an item and I woke up actually believing it. Boom.

A couple of weeks ago, the talented and mighty precious Sunny Jones, of Sunny Jones Photography, came over to snap some casual pictures of us as a family of four. I had high hopes, y'all. And unfortunately, those big dreams of sweet priceless moments captured between Ann Bennett and her big brother were shattered thanks to my terrible-almost-two-year-old. Brooks fussed, cried, and threw epic tantrums the entire time. I swear he was holding an imaginary pitchfork and breathing fire by the way he was acting.

FAIL.

Sunny, to my surprise (and by the grace of God), was able to capture a few great ones.

Hip hooray for high shutter speeds...

My loves.

Thank you, Annie B for cooperating. You took home the gold medal that day. Brooks, I still love you, tears and all. XO.
