We spent five days on 30A with the sweetest friends and I must say, it was the best way to ring in my 34th year and celebrate 8 years of marriage with John. While I was so sad to see our trip come to an end, I am feeling so refreshed and thankful for the sunshine and friendships that warmed my soul and for the sweet memories made.

We got down to the beach on Saturday afternoon and, naturally, went straight to the pool. My girlfriends made me feel so loved with the most fun and thoughtful birthday gifts. That night, we celebrated at George's, ending the night watching a beautiful sunset.

The next morning we ventured to the beach! The kids had so much fun playing together in the sand.

Later that afternoon, John took our kids to my in-laws and the other couples hired a sitter so we could enjoy a "Parent's Night Out" to fully celebrate my birthday and Brad's 40th. We went to Pescado in Rosemary Beach for a cocktail while watching the sunset and then had one of the best meals of our lives at Paradis.

It was a night to remember!

The next morning, after getting the kids back from their grandparents, we biked to the beach for another day of fun in the sun.

We spent the rest of our afternoon at the pool and the kiddos enjoyed popsicles while the mamas enjoyed a cocktail...or two.

We went to The Hub for dinner and live music. The kids (and mama) had fun dancing to the DJ.

I bet you can guess what we did the next morning! That's right, high-tailed it to the beach...again. The boys had fun burying each other and Daddy in the sand and playing a game of baseball.

After the beach, we headed to the pool to celebrate Lottie's 4th birthday, mermaid style!

Because it was our last night, we decided to order take-out and eat a relaxing dinner by the pool with our friends.

The next morning, we biked to Alys Beach before checkout. Then, we went into Seaside for a bite to eat, followed by a quick trip to Watercolor to spend an hour with our cousins.

It's never easy leaving the beach, but Camp woke up with a gunky eye and developed a fever while we were at the pool. That was our queue to say our goodbyes and head back home.

While we are in a season of full hands, this trip left us with full hearts. We cannot wait to do it again next year!
