This morning, Brooks played in his first t-ball game against the Rockhounds. Can I just argue that there really isn't anything cuter than a 5 year old in a baseball uniform?! This mama's heart was
melting. It was also proud when my sweet boy overcame his fear of playing "pitcher" and was the only one on both teams to hit a ball into the outfield. Not just one ball, but THREE! He also played third base and first base.
The final score was 19-19, however they ended up deducting a point because the umpire said that he had called time before our last runner made it to home base. Oh well! They played their little hearts out and we can't wait to watch them play again on Tuesday. Way to go, Brooks (and Riverdogs)!
