"Resurrecting"
The head that once was crowned with thorns
Is crowned with glory now
The Savior knelt to wash our feet
Now at his feet we bow

The one who wore our sin and shame
Now robed in majesty
The radiance of perfect love
Now shines for all to see

Your name
Your name
Is victory
All praise
Will rise
To Christ our king

The fear that held us now gives way
To him who is our peace
His final breath upon the cross
Is now alive in me

Your name
Your name
Is victory
All praise
Will rise
To Christ our king

By Your spirit I will rise
From the ashes of defeat
The resurrected king
Is resurrecting me

In Your name I come alive
To declare your victory
The resurrected king
Is resurrecting me

The tomb where soldiers watched in vain
Was borrowed for three days
His body there would not remain
Our God has robbed the grave
Our God has robbed the grave

Your name
Your name
Is victory
All praise
Will rise
To Christ our king

By Your spirit I will rise
From the ashes of defeat
The resurrected king
Is resurrecting me

In your name I come alive
To declare Your victory
The resurrected king
Is resurrecting me
The resurrected king
Is resurrecting me.

It was a beautiful day celebrating our risen Savior. We started the morning off with a visit from the Easter bunny, attended an amazing church service, and ended it hosting John's family for lunch. We are so grateful for this day and what it means for us.

Happy Easter!

The week leading up to Easter was a busy one. We had both Brooks and Ann Bennett's class egg hunts and parties at school.

My sweet friend Katie Beth hosted her annual Egg Hunt play date.

And, we dyed Easter eggs in the backyard in between running through the sprinkler.

Oh, the sweet anticipation of Sunday. We can hardly wait!

I have had two doctor appointments over the last week that my little sidekick had to tag along to. This girl. She is such a joy and keeps us laughing always. I just wanted to document her spunky self at two.

This picture was taken at my 28 week appointment of which I totally forgot about the glucose screening. Fortunately, she was all smiles and behaved so sweetly for the hour and a half we were there. She even helped the nurses put on the bandaids after my shots (Tdap vaccine and RhoGAM) and blood-work. You are a trooper, AB, and I love you dearly!

We weren't quite ready for Spring Break to end, so we loaded up on the Bad Boy Buggy and drove to dinner at Saw's tonight. It was the best evening. Goodness, I love this family of mine.
