Tonight we finally finished carving our pumpkins. Brooks chose to carve a falcon and Ann Bennett requested a unicorn! Daddy had his work cut our for him (no pun intended)!

We are officially ready for the trick-or-treaters tomorrow night!

We hosted our annual Pumpkin Carving Party this year and it was another fun night for the books!

We just love opening up our home each year and hope that the kiddos look forward to it for many years to come.

After dinner, we all walked down to Roxbury to watch the witches take flight!

We love our neighborhood and all of our sweet friends!

That's a wrap on another fun baseball season!

I'm so proud of these boys and the amazing season they had. See ya in the spring, baseball!

Ann Bennett and I went on a date to Ellie's birthday party this morning. It was special because we love Ellie, but what made it really special was that it was a rainbow and unicorn themed party—two of Ann Bennett's favorite things!

What fun! Happy Birthday, Ellie Wood!

Today was one of our favorite days of school at Covenant…

The Fall Festival!

Unfortunately, the rain didn't want to cooperate, so they had to reschedule the bounce house and the train and move the rest of the activities inside. But, we sure didn't let that put a damper on our day!

It was such a fun afternoon spent as a family. Brooks and Ann Bennett racked up tons of candy, we ate Chick-fil-A for lunch instead of pizza, and Mommy even won a few items in the Silent Auction. I'd say today was an all-around success!

that farm life.

Unfortunately, our weekends this month have been jam-packed or John has been traveling so we more-or-less took going to the pumpkin patch off of our agenda. However, we have the sweetest daddy who last-minute decided to take off work early yesterday afternoon so we could venture to Old Baker Farm and I am so thankful we did. It was the most perfect afternoon on the farm. We, essentially, had the entire place to ourselves so we didn't feel rushed and just basked in all the fall goodness the farm had to offer.

I brought my film camera and I am so glad I did. Here are the scans from our family outing…

P.S. I'm not sure what I love most—the fact that Ann Bennett wore her boots on the wrong foot or that Camp was told he resembled an Oompa Loompa by a few (young) bystanders. HA!
