A first "real" playdate for Camp this morning with Carter and Henley, two precious friends in his class.

Not only were we not allowed to attend Covenant's Thanksgiving Program, but Camp's class had to quarantine for two weeks because one of his teacher's tested positive for Covid, so they had to make it up when they returned back to school today.

It pained me not to be there in person, but I am thankful for these precious pictures and my little indian!

Thanks to Covid-19, the school year ended abruptly this spring and we weren't able to have a Kindergarten graduation ceremony for Ann Bennett. Although it was delayed (and socially distanced), Covenant finally made it happen this week and we are so grateful!

Ann Bennett, I cannot believe that, after four wonderful years, your time at Covenant Day School has come to an end. What a gift this program has been to our family.

Thank goodness Camp has three more years here or else I would have shed many more tears during the ceremony!

Last day of Covenant Day School Kindergarten and Twos for Ann Bennett and Camp. Such a bittersweet day saying goodbye to our sweet school and teachers. I cannot believe how much they have grown in nine short months. My heart can't take it!

And not quite how we anticipated Brooks' first year at Shades Cahaba Elementary to end, but it was a sweet year nonetheless. We are so proud of our Brooks!

Let the summer fun begin!
