Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I finally took pictures of a few of the "finished" rooms in our Lancaster cottage, post-renovation. I say "finished" because there are still things being added, rearranged, or hung on the walls almost daily. I figured I would start off the house tour with our master bedroom since we have accents of green scattered throughout. Seems appropriate, right?

I wanted our bedroom to portray man and woman, not man versus woman. Not he or she, but we. Ok, I'll stop. I had hopes of combining both masculine and feminine elements, making it a room that perked both of our senses.  The only new items that we purchased were the floor lamp (which will go in the new nursery), the light fixture, bedding, rug, and drapery. I repainted the guest bedroom headboard and side table with chalk paint to spruce them up a bit and give them new life. Everything else in the room are things we already owned that were either already a part of the master or pulled from other rooms.

Hey, Coco Kitty!

So, there you have it! There is really not much to it. Especially in terms of the closet. Wah Waaah. And since this room is going to be the new nursery, I already have grand plans for our new master. Not much will change, but because the room will be much larger I have my heart set on a bench for the end of the bed. I am on the hunt for the perfect, and most cost-efficient, one!
