This past weekend, our good friend Taylor tied the knot with his beautiful fiancée, Katie. With John being a groomsman, we were both honored to be a part of their entire wedding weekend. Friday night, Taylor’s mom and dad hosted a picturesque rehearsal dinner at The Preserve Town Hall. The evening was full of love, laughs, friends, family, and a few tears. We dined on an amazing spread and left with an adorable t-shirt designed by the bride and groom as a takeaway.

Ohhhhh, JB. |
The wedding Saturday evening was lovely. Taylor’s love for Katie was so apparent. I couldn’t be more happy for him. The reception was held at Swann Lake in Vestavia. I had heard about this venue and could not wait to lay eyes on it. It definitely exceeded my expectations! It was STUNNING and right up my alley. Toomer’s sweet tea was served in mason jars, magnolia leaves and candles donned the outdoor fireplace, lights were strung over the stone dance floor, fried macaroni and cheese was on the menu—it was simple and southern.

I had to drive John's truck to the reception. Sweaty palms. |

The wedding party rode to the reception in this trolley. |
Katie and Taylor are honeymooning in St. Lucia at the Sandals Grande (where John and I stayed) and we are so jealous! I hope that they love it just as much as we did and come home well rested, more in love, and tan! Cheers to the newlyweds!
